3 MUST-TRY WORKOUTS

I love working all out, but I can’t do the same workout all the time, otherwise I’ll get burnt out! I found three workouts I absolutely love and thought I would share them with you!

PILATES

I love workouts that help increase my flexibility while also toning muscles I didn’t even know I had. Pilates can start off pretty slow, but as you keep going the workouts can increase in difficulty and are excellent for toning up any muscles you need a little help with. I am definitely looking forward to seeing how the class I am taking progresses because I have heard this is one that will really kick your butt- hopefully into shape! πŸ˜›

YOGA

Yoga is one of my favorite workouts. I haven’t done a class in a little while, but it always leaves me feeling restored and so much better than when I started. I used to do yoga almost everyday and one of my goals for the new year is to do it more often again. One thing I noticed was my hips, back and neck had a lot less tension while I was practicing yoga. I also had much more flexibility and strength. The nice thing about this type of workout is the moves can always be modified to be harder, or easier, it really depends on you!

DANCE

I have danced since I was little and always enjoyed it as a form of exercise. I’ve done ballet, hip-hop, and even a little Zumba! Maybe Zumba doesn’t count for some people, but it definitely was a workout for me! Don’t get me wrong, I am definitely not a professional dancer or anything, but I do enjoy it and its a great workout for anyone willing to give it a try.

While these three are great workouts, another app I use to keep me in shape is the Nike training app! I am not sponsored or anything, but I’ve used it for almost a year, off and on, and the workouts are great! It can create a plan for you, with a schedule, and you can pick the type of workouts which I love because your girl does NOT like cardio! If the schedule doesn’t work because you have a busy day, you can move the days around to fit your life.

The next place I want to try is Orange Theory because I have heard nothing but good things about them! They sound amazing and the first class you take is free so I am hoping to do that next week! I’ll be sure to let y’all know how that goes on my Instagram!
