This weekend Hunter and I flew into Sacramento, California for his cousin, Ryan’s, wedding. I have to applaud Hunter though because he had to fly all the way from New York, experiencing multiple flight delays, all within 48 hours. He’s a trooper.
The wedding’s venue was held in a library in the downtown portion of Sacramento. It really looked like it had come straight from a Pinterest board, and I was honestly in awe. Hunter even went through to check out at all the wedding details, trying to get some ideas for our own wedding- I thought it was pretty sweet of him. The wedding was donned in shades of pink- mauve, blush, and a dusty rose color, including flowers all over with wood accents. Overall, it was a stunning wedding to match a stunning couple. Oh and GUYS they had a few Game of Thrones references dispersed throughout which made Hunter and I so so excited- we are HUGE Game of Thrones fans (Daenerys is obviously my favorite character). The tables were all labeled as different cities within GOT- so clever! Look at the cute bookmarks they made!
The wedding was amazing, but it was also such a great excuse to see Hunter again too. Seeing Hunter for only a quick weekend made me even more eager for him to finally graduate from West Point, which means we can also start our life together! We’ve been doing distance for almost three (!) years now, and we are not the biggest fans to say the least. Another great part of having Hunter around: even though I wasn’t feeling the best we got to dance the entire night. Dancing with Hunter has a special place in my heart, as it was the first time I realized I was falling for him after we danced all night at a swing dance. And I know I’m the luckiest girl in the world because I get to have him as my dance partner forever. Ugh sorry for the mush fest, but I’ve realized especially this weekend how thankful I am for him. He’s my person and I guess I like him a little.
P.S. Sorry for the grainy picture, I didn’t end up taking a lot of photos.
